| Typo map of the UK
In this project I used train timetables to typographically map the UK.
I split the page up into a 24 hour grid onto which I plotted the stationed stop times for every major rail route in the country. The first image shows Southbound and the second Northbound trains. Each time represents a station, and the colours represent different rail operators. The accurately plotted times of the Southbound services form a very interesting pattern that is almost mirrored in the Northbound image.
I produced this piece as an investigation into alternative ways of 'mapping'.
